My name is Sharon Haskins.  I am the owner of Kaleidoscopic Makeup and I'd like to take a minute to tell you a little about myself and why I am a makeup artist. My passion for makeup began with the Christmas gift of a "deluxe" eye shadow palette. I was young and had no idea what I was doing and didn't have anyone to ask for advice. I just opened the palette and began to play with the brushes and colors. It was then, in my bedroom in 1997, that I created my first looks. Years went by and I traveled down many roads, but they all lead me back to makeup. After much thought I decided it was time to turn my passion into my career. I became a certified makeup artist and I haven't looked back since.  

 

     As with many things in life, experience is the best teacher; it is the one-on- one interactions with each new client that helps me to continue to grow as an artist. I am elated to have an opportunity to use my love of makeup artistry to help others. Whether it be to help a bride on her special day, or to transform someone into a Halloween ghoul. I am happy to be a part of their experience.

 

I believe that every one has an existing beauty within them; whether it's the person who is terribly shy, or the consummate bookworm. They all have the ability take your breath away; and she want to help them do it. I want each of my clients to be able to define beauty on their own terms. Care to be daring? Let's do it! Want to keep it natural? We can do that too. Change your makeup to match your mood, your outfit, or even the Dow Jones!

Finding the beauty in life is like looking through a kaleidoscope; each person will see a different, wonderful detail about the pattern; but no matter which way you turn, the pattern remains beautiful. I will work with you to achieve a look that will leave you feeling confident, elated and ready to show of your personal style.

I am here to serve all those people around the world who march to their own beauty beat. I'd like to say to you: continue to bend, break, and defy EVERY rule. Make your own; and break those too! My goal is to provide a makeup experience that includes quality artistry, tips to ensure healthy skin, and most importantly, an experiences that allows a client to leave with a healthy self image; because that is what's beauty is all about.

I travel all across Louisiana, the Northwest Florida Panhandle, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas.
